Abuja is where Chopam started, and soup is what we deliver most. Whether you are in Kubwa, Dutse or anywhere inside our live service areas, here is exactly how a soup order works from the moment you tap add to cart.
Where we deliver
Delivery areas are managed in the app and expand as more riders join, so the list you can order to is always the live one. The checkout confirms your area before you pay. Live delivery currently covers our active service areas in Abuja, including Kubwa and Dutse. If your area is not on the list yet, message support — new areas are added regularly.
What you can order
Everything in the kitchen: banga, ngwo-ngwo cow foot soup, oha, egusi, efo riro, ewedu, gbegiri, afang, edikang ikong, nsala, ogbono, okro, pepper soup and the stews that go with rice. Add pounded yam, eba or amala and the pot arrives ready to eat.
How the delivery works
- Your order goes to the kitchen, or to the vendor you picked, where it is cooked and packed in sealed, leak-proof takeaway packs. Swallow is wrapped separately.
- A rider is assigned and the kitchen is told to hand the order over.
- You follow the rider's ETA on the order screen as they move toward your address.
- The rider asks for your delivery code at the door. Only that code completes the delivery and releases the money from escrow, so no one can claim your soup arrived when it did not.
What the delivery costs
The fee depends on the size of your order and the distance to your address, and it is always shown before payment. Order everything in one basket to make the trip worth it — soup, swallow, pepper, drinks and market items can travel together.
Best times to order
Soup travels best when it goes straight from the pot to the bike. Mid-morning and lunch time orders arrive fastest. For evening orders in busy periods, order a little ahead so the kitchen can cook yours before the rush.
